HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN
North Highland are working with one of our key customers in the Life Sciences space.   As they start driving multiple transformation projects in 2025 we need a seasoned Scrum Master who can work with the wider Agile teams to embed Agile mindsets and ways of working.  This will include training, guiding, and supporting Agile teams.      

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring team understands Agile and Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines, and embeds knowledge through lived experience.

  • Coaches the team in self-organization, high performing team practices, effective collaboration, and transparent communications.

  • Brings the team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate techniques.

  • Partners with initiative delivery lead(s)/ product owner(s) & project managers to create Agile milestone plans and backlogs for project & sprints. 

  • Lead sprint ceremonies for Agile teams to achieve targeted results in close partnership with initiative lead/product owner.

  • Works with Agile/Scrum Teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, impediments.

IDEALLY WE’D LIKE

  • Proven track record as a Scrum Master and leading in an Agile Environment. 

  • Knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum and/or Kanban). Experience in implementing Agile at Scale.

  • Agile certifications are a plus. Lean and Six Sigma certifications are not required but are a plus.

  • Experience managing a team of teams, negotiating compromises, and interfacing between technical and business partners.

  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira.

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong Facilitation Skills. Leads with a spirit Servant-leadership and empathy.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Organized and able to prioritize program execution activities to meet multiple deadlines.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience working in the Consulting space

  • Experience working in Pharma / Lifesciences
