We're seeking a Manager and Senior Consultant - Target Operating Model to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our major UK retail client.
Please note, this is an initial 3-6 month(January and March starts) inside IR35 PAYE Umbrella contract that will require onsite working in London or Hertfordshire 2 days per week.
SUMMARY
As a Senior Consultant/Manager - Target Operating Model (Retail Buying Operations), you will play a pivotal role in transforming the way our client, a leading retail company, approaches its buying operations. By designing a blueprint for a new operating model, you will help the client leverage greater buying power, achieve cost savings, and drive efficiencies across their healthcare and clothing business units.
YOU WILL:

Collaborate with the client's organization design and people teams to explore options for changing the buying operating model

Test the new model with the healthcare and clothing business units, ensuring it delivers the desired outcomes

Develop a comprehensive blueprint for the target operating model, addressing key elements such as processes, technology, and organizational structure

Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to the client's leadership team on implementing the new operating model

Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to gather input and build consensus on the proposed changes

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the new operating model, making adjustments as needed
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Extensive experience in organization design and target operating model development, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement and design effective solutions

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to navigate complex organizational dynamics

Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives and driving sustainable transformation

Degree in a relevant field, such as business, management, or a related discipline

Demonstrated expertise in project management, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver results on time and within budget

Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position.
