We're seeking a Senior Cyber Security Specialist in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

YOU WILL:

  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation 

  • Conduct regular reviews of existing policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance 

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 requirements and best practices 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and industry standards 

  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters 

  • Conduct internal audits to identify potential compliance gaps and provide recommendations for remediation 

  • Work with external auditors during compliance audits 

  • Keep up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compliance 

  • Participate in the development of compliance training programs for employees 


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, technical writing, or a related field 

  • Strong technical writing skills with experience developing policies, procedures, and other compliance documentation 

  • Solid knowledge of ISO 27001 compliance requirements and cyber security best practices 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (English & spanish)

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Experience conducting internal audits and working with external auditors 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as computer science, information systems, or business) or equivalent work experience
