SUMMARY:
North Highland's Data & AI practice helps clients turn scattered data into decisions they can act on. You'll build the reports, models, and data pipelines that give our clients a clear view of their business, working across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern data platforms from day one.
YOU WILL:

Build Power BI reports and dashboards that give client stakeholders a clear, current view of their business.

Build and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric to move and shape data from source systems into usable models.

Support data architecture design decisions, including how data is organized, stored, and modelled across a client's Fabric environment.

Partner with other North Highland consultants to translate business questions into data models, reports, and repeatable analysis.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and Data Factory pipelines.

Working knowledge of data architecture fundamentals: data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and medallion architecture.

Hands-on data engineering skills: building and troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines and basic data transformation logic.

Power BI report and dashboard development, including DAX fundamentals and data visualization best practices.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Microsoft certification in Power BI (PL-300) or Fabric (DP-600), or active progress toward one. Alternatively, strong Fabric experience would be equivalent.

Exposure to a cloud data platform such as Snowflake or Databricks.

Prior experience in a consulting or professional services role.
