We're seeking a Analyst - Application Engineering in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY
North Highland is looking for a motivated Analyst Application Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their technical career who is eager to grow into a Workday Integrations specialist.
You will work closely with senior team members and internal business partners to support, maintain, and enhance our platform.
YOU WILL:

Support the full lifecycle of our platform (Workday) changes — gathering requirements, helping configure solutions, testing, and assisting with deployments.

Assist in building and maintaining integrations (including EIBs and Workday-delivered integrations).

Support the creation of Workday custom reports and calculated fields.

Help troubleshoot and triage Workday integration or data issues.

Work with functional teams to understand needs and support their ongoing requests.

Participate in Workday’s bi-annual release activities, testing new features and documenting impacts.

Contribute to maintaining documentation, tracking enhancements, and supporting overall Workday operations.

Collaborate with teammates to learn cross-functional dependencies within the Workday ecosystem.

Have Formal Workday training through structured Workday learning paths.

Technical mentorship from senior Workday Integration specialists.

Hands-on experience with real Workday projects and enhancements.

A clear career development path into mid-level and senior Workday roles.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

1–3+ years of experience in a technical role (support, development, systems analysis, reporting, or similar).

Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, SQL, C#, JavaScript, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply new skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Exposure to HR systems, ERP tools, or cloud platforms.

Experience with APIs, integrations, or data flows.

Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Interest in developing deeper specialization in Workday integrations long-term.
