SUMMARY:
The Business Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes and technology solutions across the organization. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to define requirements, support solution design, and ensure successful implementation of projects. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams, and supporting system implementations to enhance operational efficiency.
YOU WILL:

Develop strong relationships with business unit stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor between business and IT.

Work with business partners to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements.

Conduct interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to gather and document business requirements, workflows, and system impacts.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in clear, concise documentation.

Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria to support Agile and waterfall development processes.

Analyze current business processes, systems, and data flows, identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.

Document and design future-state process workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals and system capabilities.

Work with business partners to map process steps, system interactions, and data dependencies for new and existing workflows.

Collaborate with development teams, product managers, solution architects and BI teammates to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Support system implementation efforts, ensuring solutions meet business needs and align with strategic objectives.

Support functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases, reviewing results, and ensuring alignment with requirements.

Assist in the development of training materials and user documentation to support successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Ensure operational documentation is up to date and facilitate the transition of solutions to support teams.
IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:

Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in business process design, requirements gathering, and system impact analysis

Ability to document business processes and translate them into technical requirements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and draw business-relevant conclusions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus
