We're seeking a Consultant - Business Analyst in our Health and Human Services Practice to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY
North Highland is seeking to hire a Consultant - Business Analyst to support our Public Sector client optimize the efficiency and reliability of their Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

YOU WILL:

  • Use knowledge of business analysis and process as well as effective project management skills to plan and lead work streams.. 
  • Focus on quality completion of deliverables. 
  • Support the RFP process, including requirements gathering for our client.
  • Work directly with clients as a visible and engaged member of the team. 
  • Establish positive relationships with clients and peers that build credibility, foster your support network and empower career development. 

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
  • 5+ years of MMIS/MES Modernization Business Analysis experience
  • Expertise in analyzing and documenting business processes, gathering and validating requirements, and creating detailed specifications to guide technical teams in an MMIS/Medicaid Enterprise System Transformation/State Agency environment.
  • Familiarity w/ Medicaid Claims and Provider Modules
  • Familiarity w/ MITA Standards
  • Experience performing data analysis
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder collaboration 
  • Experience developing business cases to justify solutions and supporting testing to ensure successful adoption
  • An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates 
  • A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including roles that interface with senior-level client executives 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives, and the community at large 
  • Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. A master’s degree and/or applicable professional certifications are bonuses


We strive to offer competitive compensation and benefits while maintaining flexibility for both the employee and the North Highland. Total Rewards associated with this position include an hourly rate from: $75.00 - $80.00 as well as a basic benefits package for temporary employees and paid time off (PTO).

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position. This is a temporary employee (W2) opportunity.
