We're seeking a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer and Infrastructure System Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud technologies and infrastructure management, who can maintain and optimize IT environments while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

You Will:

  • Administer and maintain Windows server environments.

  • Manage and monitor virtualization platforms including Nutanix, VMWare, and HyperV.

  • Design, implement, and support Azure cloud architecture, networking, and cost optimization strategies.

  • Configure and maintain firewalls and network security protocols.

  • Automate infrastructure processes using Azure Automation.

  • Support cloud networking operations and ensure compliance with best practices.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues across environments.

  • Prioritize tasks effectively using backlog management tools and coordinate with internal teams.

  • Document system configurations and procedures for internal use.

  • Participate in audits and reviews of cloud and infrastructure systems.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering and system administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration.

  • Hands-on experience with Nutanix, VMWare, and HyperV.

  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure: Architecture, Cloud Networking, Automation, Cost Management.

  • Solid understanding of networking and firewall configuration.

  • Experience working with ticketing systems and backlog prioritization.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and contribute to team goals.
