We're seeking a Communications Manager in Portland to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact. 6- month contract assignment, onsite 4 days a week in Portland, OR
SUMMARY
As a Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our consulting firm's enterprise transformation program. Your expertise in strategic communications will be instrumental in ensuring program predictability, visibility, and reducing the burden on senior leaders. By developing and implementing effective change management strategies, you will enable the program teams to make steady progress towards their core objectives, while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
YOU WILL:

Manage the communications workstream for the program's key focus areas, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all stakeholders

Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy and approach, tailored to the unique needs of the organization

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify challenges, and proactively address communication-related concerns

Create engaging and informative content, such as presentations, newsletters, and updates, to keep stakeholders informed and aligned

Establish and maintain effective communication channels, fostering open dialogue and feedback loops

Provide guidance and support to the program teams, helping them navigate the complexities of the transformation journey

Measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and continuously optimize strategies to drive maximum impact
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Proven experience in communications or change management role, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences

Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Familiarity with change management frameworks and best practices

Proficiency in creating a variety of content, from presentations to key messaging and reports

Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate dynamic, fast-paced environments

Passion for driving organizational transformation and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
