We're seeking a Data Architect in Ecuador to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.


SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data solutions that support both internal operations and client-facing applications. You must be highly proficient in advanced SQL Server architecture, development, and optimization techniques.

YOU WILL:

Data Engineer/Analyst

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client internal teams (typically via email).

  • Receive and respond to client requests and questions.

  • Educate clients on system processes and details.

  • Lead weekly standups with client teams.

  • Research and query data within the system.

  • Perform manual mappings and data loads.

  • Create promotions and incentives.

  • Execute payout procedures.

  • Generate operational reports and datasets.

    Data Architect 

  • Perform code modifications based on evolving business requirements.

  • Maintain batch processes, PowerShell scripts, SFTP, and data archival procedures.

  • Manage API endpoints and their database interactions.

  • Produce and transmit data extracts.

  • Work within advanced SQL Server environments, ensuring high performance.

  • Navigate complex data models with deep referential integrity.

  • Create and parse XML documents using SQL.

  • Utilize and update CLR (Common Language Runtime) functions.

  • Modify and create table-valued and scalar functions.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server (2016 or later), including database architecture, administration, and advanced development.

  • Experience with data ingestion, egress, and archival processes (Batch, PowerShell, SFTP).

  • Ability to create and parse XML documents within SQL.

  • Experience with CLR functions and advanced SQL scripting.

  • Strong analytical skills for researching and querying operational data.

  • Ability to manage client communications in English, including leading standups.

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable with manual data mappings and promotions management.

  • Familiarity with API endpoint management and integrations with databases.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client requests efficiently.
