SUMMARY:
North Highland is seeking an experienced Energy Management System (EMS) Project Manager to lead the technical and operational consolidation of EMS platforms. As part of the Energy Management team within Technical Services Asset and Energy Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Energy Management Group by providing high-quality support and insight across Project Management, Change Management, and Project Reporting.

SUMMARY:
North Highland is seeking an experienced Energy Management System (EMS) Project Manager to lead the technical and operational consolidation of EMS platforms. As part of the Energy Management team within Technical Services Asset and Energy Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Energy Management Group by providing high-quality support and insight across Project Management, Change Management, and Project Reporting.
YOU WILL:
- Lead the technical and operational consolidation of EMS platforms
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors
- Ensure alignment across project workstreams
- Coordinate data migration and system consolidation, overseeing multiple workstreams
- Facilitate technical discussions to plan and execute project work
- Collaborate with the test coordinator on technical and functional testing
- Organize and oversee project cutover plans
- Facilitate project planning sessions and gain alignment on project activities and timelines
- Monitor project progress and update plans accordingly
- Conduct weekly team meetings and publish to-do lists
- Manage issues, risks, and roadblocks to keep the project on track
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports and milestone plans
- Administer the Project SharePoint site
- Facilitate training, Hyper Care, and Transition to Support activities
- Manage organizational change related to the project
IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:
- 15+ years of experience in energy management projects
- Proven track record in large-scale EMS implementations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Experience as a project manager for end-to-end global project implementation
- Broad understanding of EMS technologies and data services
- Familiarity with EMS technical components (e.g., Aveva software platform, fuel management system, SAP integration)
- Proven ability to manage multiple third-party vendors
- Experience in virtual project team management
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail in documentation and project management processes
- Ability to hold team members accountable and drive results
- Skill in communicating complex technical issues to executive-level stakeholders
- Experience with Asset Management
- Knowledge of energy industry regulations and best practices
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
