We're seeking a Analyst - Application Engineering in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

North Highland is looking for a motivated Application Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is eager to grow into a Workday HCM specialist.

You will work closely with senior team members and internal business partners to support, maintain, and enhance our platform.


YOU WILL:

What You’ll Do

With guidance and mentorship, you will:

  • Support the full lifecycle of our platform (Workday) changes — gathering requirements, helping configure solutions, testing, and assisting with deployments.

  • Manage Tier 1 level tasks through to resolution or escalation to another team member

  • Support the creation of Workday custom reports and calculated fields.

  • Help troubleshoot and triage Workday integration or data issues.

  • Work with functional teams to understand needs and support their ongoing requests.

  • Organize work and solutions in Jira, documenting for the future and providing transparency to stakeholders.

  • Participate in Workday’s bi-annual release activities, testing new features and documenting impacts.

  • Contribute to maintaining documentation, tracking enhancements, and supporting overall Workday operations.

  • Collaborate with teammates to learn cross-functional dependencies within the Workday ecosystem.

Required Skills

  • 1–3+ years of experience in a technical role (support, development, systems analysis, reporting, or similar).

  • Familiarity with at least one web programming or scripting language (SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply new skills.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to HR systems, ERP tools, or cloud platforms.

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

  • Experience with Jira, Planner, Trello, or similar tools.

  • Interest in developing deeper specialization in Workday long-term.
