We're seeking a Manager of Infrastructure Engineering in our Atlanta, GA office to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY:
As an Infrastructure Manager, you will lead and improve the core infrastructure that keeps our business running. This role is for a hands-on leader who can guide a team, foster a growth mindset, and remain close to the technology across on-premises and cloud environments.
The right candidate will balance people leadership, operational accountability, and pragmatic modernization. This role oversees physical servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup and recovery, identity services, core cloud infrastructure, and the operational controls required to run a secure and resilient environment. This leader will set standards, coach the team, and help build a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and steady execution.
YOU WILL:

Lead, coach, and develop the infrastructure team, including setting expectations, providing feedback, supporting career growth, and fostering a growth mindset across the function.

Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, documentation, continuous improvement, and calm execution during incidents and change activity.

Manage day-to-day infrastructure operations across physical servers, VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Linux, storage, backup platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.

Remain hands-on with critical infrastructure work, including troubleshooting, escalation support, major changes, and high-severity incidents.

Support hands-on data center work including rack and stack, hardware installation and replacement, cabling verification, break-fix coordination, inventory validation, and refresh activities.

Oversee server lifecycle activities including provisioning, patching, firmware updates, performance tuning, capacity planning, and decommissioning.

Own virtualization platform health, including cluster operations, host maintenance, VM provisioning, availability planning, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

Oversee enterprise storage and data protection solutions, including SAN or NAS platforms, backup jobs, restore testing, replication, and disaster recovery readiness.

Lead administration of Active Directory, Entra ID or Azure AD, hybrid identity, group policy, privileged access controls, and core authentication services.

Support Microsoft 365 services and adjacent collaboration infrastructure where required, including identity, access policies, and operational escalations.

Build, maintain, and support Azure and AWS infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, monitoring, and workload migration.

Drive automation and operational maturity using PowerShell and other scripting or infrastructure tooling to reduce manual effort and improve resilience.

Own infrastructure monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational dashboards to improve visibility and reduce time to resolution.

Lead infrastructure incident response, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and service restoration efforts across the team.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware support, maintenance, licensing, warranty issues, and infrastructure projects.

Partner with security, networking, help desk, cloud, and application teams to align priorities, improve reliability, and resolve cross-functional issues.

Ensure runbooks, diagrams, standard operating procedures, disaster recovery documentation, and change records remain current and usable.

Support compliance and security operations through system hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, audit support, and adherence to infrastructure standards.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

8+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations experience in enterprise environments.

2+ years of people leadership, team lead, or direct management experience for infrastructure or systems teams.

Proven ability to coach engineers, develop talent, set priorities, and foster a growth mindset and continuous learning culture.

Strong hands-on experience with physical server infrastructure, including hardware diagnostics, component replacement, firmware management, and data center support.

Deep experience administering VMware and Hyper-V in production environments.
-
Strong Windows Server administration experience, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and hybrid identity integration.

Working experience supporting Linux servers in production environments.
-
Experience with enterprise storage, backup, and recovery platforms, including restore operations and disaster recovery testing.

Experience administering hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms, with practical Azure expertise and working knowledge of AWS.

Experience supporting security and compliance operations, including patching, hardening, access review support, and vulnerability remediation.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and operational troubleshooting across compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.

Ability to lead incident response, drive root cause analysis, communicate clearly during high-severity outages, and keep teams aligned under pressure.

Experience with change management, vendor coordination, budget or resource prioritization, and cross-functional technical leadership.

Interest in experimenting with and adopting AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code or Codex, with a desire to continue expanding knowledge and practical use in this area.

Experience managing distributed infrastructure support across multiple sites, offices, or data centers.

Experience with Dell server hardware and enterprise platforms such as Pure Storage, Rubrik, or comparable technologies.

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and conditional access dependencies.

Experience building or supporting infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or similar tooling.

Experience with automation beyond PowerShell, such as Python.

Experience with Azure migrations, cloud governance, and hybrid workload design.
-
Experience with vulnerability management and operational audit support in regulated or security-conscious environments.

Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues across network boundaries.

Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator, VMware Certified Advanced Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, or similar infrastructure credentials.
