We're seeking a Manager- Supply Chain in Charlotte to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY:

North Highland is seeking to hire a Manger Level - Supply Chain Management Consultant to help service our retail clients. This Management Consultant will need to have expertise within Retail Merchandising or Planning System Design/Implementation;

And will need experience in working client strategy consulting engagements spanning Distribution Network Optimization, Warehousing Facility Design and Performance Improvement and Inventory Strategy, while contributing to new/enhanced Supply Chain service offering development and authoring relevant industry leading thought leadership materials.

Additionally, this hire will Support business development activities and serve as a career coach to junior consultants. 


YOU WILL:
  • Need 7+ years of experience within the supply chain, logistics, or warehousing industry, including at least four years within a professional services organization (consulting or software services).
  • Need Expertise within Retail Merchandising or Planning system design/implementation
  • Have the ability to travel to fulfill client requirements and project needs, and for personal development.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact.
  • Have the ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates.
  • Have a demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management or business management, or relevant work experience. 

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Demonstrated expertise (via leading project delivery) within at least two of the following areas:
  • Retail Merchandising or Planning System Design/Implementation
  • Distribution/Warehouse Network Strategy
  • Inventory Strategy & Modeling
  • Distribution/Warehouse Facility Design & Technology/Automation Selection
  • Distribution/Warehousing Performance Improvement
