We're seeking a Research and Intelligence Manager in our Atlanta, GA office to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY:
You’ll run a variety of research initiatives using quantitative, qualitative, and secondary research skills. You’ll work within our Knowledge + Research function alongside others in our firm from our Executive Team, Practice area leaders, Commercial Enablement, and Marketing teams to provide market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and key insights to shape our strategy and that of our clients. Our Research & Intelligence Manager is responsible for driving all aspects of research efforts including program ownership, survey design and administration, analysis and insights, data visualization, storytelling, and more.
YOU WILL:
- Design and field quantitative market research surveys.
- Analyze primary research data and visualize key insights through dashboards and graphics.
- Distill compelling themes and takeaways from primary and secondary research findings; perform research read-outs to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Draw meaningful connections across data sets to tell a powerful, insights-backed story to key audiences.
- Perform market scans and create competitive intelligence profiles for business development and industry teams.
- Develop industry and account-level trend reports tailored to the strategies of our industry practices and key accounts.
- Manage research request traffic.
- Maintain research subscriptions, user lists, and overall relationships with our research partners/vendors.
- Intake and fulfill secondary research requests using agency partners.
- Serve as liaison with our expert network partner.
- Process invoices for research subscriptions.
- Manage contract renewals for research subscriptions.
- Program design and maintenance.
- Survey instrument design.
- Survey fielding, analysis, reporting, and storytelling, including integration between Qualtrics and Salesforce.
- Closed-loop feedback process facilitation.
- Expanding the value of the program firmwide with knowledge-sharing and regular communications.
- Perform qualitative analysis, extracting themes from open-ended feedback, interviews, and conversations.
- Potentially conduct product focus groups and product naming research.
- Jump into knowledge management activities and efforts when needed on our cross-functional Knowledge + Research team.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in market research, consumer insights, or a closely related field. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must, and professional services industry experience is desired.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong advanced Excel proficiency and significant Qualtrics XM expertise are absolutely required. Ability to find "aha moments" in data using advanced analysis skills, data visualization techniques, and statistical methods.
- Research Capabilities: Secondary research experience including market sizing, competitive intelligence, and benchmarking. Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communication Skills: Experience building stakeholder relationships, leading research strategies, collaborating on storylines, working with partners, collaborating with senior leaders, and exploring data visualization techniques.
- Presentation Abilities: Strong executive presence and skill for delivering research findings and narratives that connect with and inspire senior audiences.
- Professional Qualities: Accountability for quality deliverables, strong project management, creative storytelling, curiosity, open-mindedness, bias for action, tolerance for ambiguity, and a positive attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Statistics, Information Science, or related field with strong research emphasis from an accredited institution. Master's degree and/or professional certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years’ experience in market research, consumer insights, or a closely related field.
