We're seeking a Program Manager - in Portland, OR to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

As a Program Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives to streamline and optimize the financial close process for our client. By driving process improvements, reducing manual bottlenecks, and enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, you will help accelerate decision-making and support the organization's transformation. 12-month contract assignment in the Portland, OR metro area. 4 days a week onsite, 1 day remote

YOU WILL:

 

  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving finance and technology stakeholders to implement process optimizations

  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to plan, track, and report on the progress of the transformation initiative

  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders and provide executive-level updates on the program's status, risks, and dependencies

  • Collaborate with the Finance and IT teams to identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks

  • Ensure the successful delivery of the project objectives within the defined timeline and budget


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
 

  • Proven program and project management experience, with the ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver results within tight timelines.

  • Proven experience leading program initiatives with senior finance stakeholders, including Directors and Portfolio/Change Principals

  • Management Consulting experience

  • Expertise in project/program management, with a strong background in using tools like Smartsheet for planning, tracking, and reporting

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Familiarity with matrixed organizations and the ability to navigate complex environments

  • Previous experience in the finance/controlling domain, preferably in the consumer goods or technology industry

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address process inefficiencies

  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving positive change within the organization
