We're seeking a Public Sector Project Manager in London to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for one of our Public Sector Government clients.
*please note, this is an initial 3-6 month inside IR35 PAYE umbrella contract that will require hybrid working in London 2 days per week
SUMMARY
As a Public Sector Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and delivery of an evolution programme. By applying effective project management methodologies, you will work collaboratively across various teams, identify opportunities for business improvement, and build robust working relationships to ensure the successful rollout of pilot initiatives and associated change activities
YOU WILL:

Support the development and refinement of the business case, providing input and evidence from project delivery

Maintain clear and consistent communication with colleagues across the programme, building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Apply best practice project management approaches and draw on guidance from the Programme Manager

Identify and coordinate the resources needed to deliver project milestones, ensuring capacity and capability are in place to meet delivery timelines

Monitor and manage risks and issues, escalating strategically significant matters to the Change Manager and Programme leadership when required

Work with project leads and the Benefits Manager to ensure benefits are tracked, reported, and achieved in line with the business case

Develop and maintain project plans, reporting progress against milestones and ensuring alignment with programme governance and decision-making processes

Translate the vision and objectives of the programme into clear project deliverables, supporting the achievement of long-term outcomes

Identify, map, and monitor project-level dependencies, feeding into programme governance to ensure alignment and timely resolution

Use digital tools and data analysis to track progress, support decision-making, and provide actionable insights that keep delivery on track and visible to stakeholders
