We're seeking a Project Manager in Health & Human Services to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY
The Project Manager will oversee project prioritization, procurement, and the implementation of high-priority initiatives, driving critical IT projects and supporting IT governance across the enterprise.

YOU WILL:

  • Lead the definition of project scope, milestones, tasks, deliverables, resource requirements, and project success criteria.

  • Manage project teams assembled to deliver projects on-time, on budget, meeting functional and quality specifications to sponsor satisfaction.

  • Forecast, manage, and report on project financials, planned vs. actual project schedule, and resource utilization.

  • Identify resources needed to complete work and collaborate with sponsors/ manager(s) to assemble appropriate skills/teams.

  • Ensure that project management plans are developed, accepted, and used to monitor project execution for compliance with; scope, schedule, quality, risk/issue, communications, stakeholder, resource, cost, integration, and vendor management processes.

  • Advise State Contract Manager on administration of vendor contract, acceptance of deliverables, and change requests.

  • Deliver IT governance committee presentations.

  • Coordinate the deliverables review and acceptance process.

  • Organize and facilitate project meetings and workshops.

  • Create and execute strategies for risks mitigation and contingency planning.

  • Escalate issues that require executive, management or business attention.

  • Provide weekly status reports and communicate to executive leadership.

  • Ensure that assigned projects are conducted in compliance with all PMO standards.


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience applying PMBOK principles.

  • Experience serving as a project manager in a large, complex, multi-project environment

  • Experience working in a PMO and governance environment.

  • Skill in the application of industry-standard project and program management principles, practices and techniques.

  • Skilled in the management of project resources, schedules, risks, issues, decisions, change, and communications.

  • Skill in dealing with conflict.

  • Strong critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to lead others to achieve a goal.

  • Ability to distill information for consumption by executive-level staff.

  • Ability to communicate technical ideas in plain language, both written and verbally.

  • Ability to deliver high quality work products in a timely manner.


We strive to offer competitive compensation and benefits while maintaining flexibility for both the employee and the North Highland. Total Rewards associated with this position include an hourly rate from: $80.00 - $110.00 as well as a basic benefits package for temporary employees and paid time off (PTO).

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position. This is a temporary employee (W2) opportunity.
