We're seeking a Senior AI & Data Engineer in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY
 

We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer with strong experience in data modeling, large-scale data transformation, API integrations, and Master Data Management (MDM), specifically with Reltio.

This role involves working within the AWS ecosystem to design and implement robust data pipelines that move and transform large volumes of data across systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable integration between enterprise platforms, data lakes, and analytics environments.

YOU WILL:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines within AWS.

• Move and transform large volumes of data from source systems through a Data Lake (S3) into Redshift.

• Develop ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, PySpark, Python, Lambda, and DMS.

• Design and implement API-based integrations between enterprise systems and MDM platforms.

• Work extensively with Reltio MDM to manage, model, and integrate master data across systems.

• Apply data modeling best practices to support performance, scalability, and governance requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration patterns and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

• Implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines within AWS environments.

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring and optimization.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute actively within a collaborative team environment.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
 

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer working with large-scale data platforms.

• Hands-on experience with Reltio MDM and enterprise Master Data Management concepts.

• Solid experience designing and implementing API integrations across distributed systems.

• Strong understanding of data modeling principles.

• Experience working within the AWS ecosystem, including Glue, Lambda, Redshift, DMS, and S3.

• Intermediate SQL skills, including query development and performance tuning.

• Intermediate Python skills for data engineering and transformation tasks.

• Experience with AWS CI/CD processes.

• Basic experience with PySpark.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
