We're seeking a Senior Manager – Program and Change Manager - ERP Implementation in Chicago to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Manager Consultant with deep expertise in Program and Change Management, ideally with ERP implementation experience, to join our growing team. This individual will lead client engagements focused on organizational transformation, change enablement, and ERP-related change initiatives. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, drive alignment to engagement objectives and business outcomes, develop change strategies, and guide organizations through complex transitions. This role blends program management with strategic change management to deliver a seamless transition to new digital transformation capabilities.
YOU WILL:
- Lead an overall ERP implementation program, coordinating multiple workstreams, resources, and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain the program plan, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Establish governance structures and decision-making frameworks
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to executive leadership
- Lead and deliver change management workstreams on complex client engagements, including ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Assess organizational readiness and identify potential resistance points
- Develop and execute comprehensive change strategies including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and organizational readiness.
- Facilitate organizational alignment and manage the people side of change
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable execution plans and defined success metrics
- Bridge the gap between technical and business teams to ensure requirements are properly translated
- Partner cross-functionally with project managers, technology teams, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless program and change delivery.
- Measure and report on adoption metrics and program success criteria
- Develop post-implementation support strategies for sustainable change
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, contributing to team capability and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to business development through proposal writing, client presentations, and opportunity identification.
- Support practice growth by contributing to intellectual capital, methodologies, and service offerings.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on program management, change management and organizational transformation.
- Experience balancing program delivery with organizational change needs
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR), and tools.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders, influence senior leaders, and drive adoption in complex environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., Prosci, PMP) preferred. Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment
