Looking for a Senior Project Manager based in Midland, with travel required to London. You will play a crucial role in bringing structure, governance, and rigour to a highly skilled engineering team. Your expertise in project management and engineering background will enable you to guide this talented group, ensuring they deliver cutting-edge AI and robotics solutions while adhering to processes and keeping stakeholders informed.

YOU WILL:

  • Provide strong project management leadership to a team of brilliant engineers, helping them navigate projects and deliver results

  • Establish and maintain robust project management processes, including planning, monitoring, and reporting

  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand their work and provide guidance on best practices

  • Communicate project status and progress to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment

  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track

  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve project management practices and drive efficiency


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably in an engineering or technology-focused environment

  • Strong technical background, with a good understanding of software development, AI, and robotics

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative, productive work environment

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset

  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP or Agile, would be highly desirable
