We're seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in C# (.NET) for backend development and JavaScript/TypeScript (Vue.js) for frontend development. This role will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.

YOU WILL:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using C#/.NET Core and Vue.js.
• Work on backend services and APIs primarily in .NET, ensuring clean architecture and scalability.
• Develop and enhance frontend features using JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Read and understand existing PHP code to support integrations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on system improvements (no heavy PHP development required).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations between systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver reliable and timely releases.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong backend experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Solid frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Ability to read and understand PHP logic in existing codebases (experience maintaining legacy systems is a plus).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Good understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile team.
