We're seeking a Specialist, Billing in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

The Billing Specialist will support the billing and collections process for a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with client agreements. 

YOU WILL:

  • Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and support the billing process from invoicing to collection, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

  • Prepare and issue invoices based on client agreements, confirming that billing details are complete and aligned with internal records.

  • Maintain accurate billing data in Workday or other financial systems, performing routine checks to ensure data integrity.

  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to address invoicing questions and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

  • Review work-in-progress (WIP) data monthly to support timely billing of fees and costs compared to recognized revenue.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve billing processes and support the implementation of efficiency measures to reduce errors.

  • Ensure billing activities comply with company policies, client contracts, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to support alignment between billing operations and financial reporting.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

  • Experience supporting clients or billing processes in the U.S. market, with familiarity with U.S. invoicing standards and expectations.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute billing tasks with accuracy and consistency.

  • Outstanding English skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Experience with Workday Financials is a plus.
