We're seeking a Sr. AI & Data Engineer in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

YOU WILL:

Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL, Snowflake.
Manage and enhance data models and data warehouses, ensuring performance, security, and integrity.
Lead the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics and reporting solutions.
Develop, publish, and manage reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring alignment with business requirements and KPIs.
Collaborate closely with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and Azure services, ensuring high availability and performance.
Contribute to data governance, best practices, and documentation to maintain consistency and quality across data initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on Azure data services.
Proven expertise in Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.
Experience implementing and optimizing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report design.
Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data security practices.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Experience working in agile or collaborative data environments is a plus.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Knowledge of other Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, or Azure Stream Analytics.
Experience working with large-scale data migration and modernization projects.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes for data solutions.
