We're seeking a Test Lead/Test Architect to work Remotely in our HHS Practice to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY
North Highland is seeking to hire a Test Lead/Test Architect to help our Public Sector client with an MES Transformation Project.
YOU WILL:

Craft and execute comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, or test scripts.

Lead all aspects of STLC that includes Test Planning, Test/Defect Management, and RTM
-
Engage with key project stakeholders and other relevant parties to ensure alignment and address any concerns related to testing.

Experience with test results validation and testing metrics reporting

Creating strategies and architecting the overall Testing, creating Test Management Strategies.

Creating strategies for test data management, including data obfuscation
-
Leading multiple release cycles
-
Managing complex test programs
-
Full software project lifecycle including SAFe, Agile, and DevOps

Managing test tools and environments
-
Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Implementing Continuous Integration practices and tooling
-
Integration testing, Web services testing, performance testing, load testing, DR testing, Security testing, and Service Virtualization techniques
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
-
Ideally 10+ years experience as a Test Lead/Test Architect
-
5-10 years of hands-on testing experience within large scale/systems, preferably US Healthcare Payer or similar systems/portfolio with heavy integrations

Domain Expertise: MMIS/MES, Healthcare Payer systems, Medicaid/Medicare systems, HIPAA regulations.

Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

Experience with API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)

Understanding of database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries
-
Basic understanding of programming concepts and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
-
Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., XRAY, Zephyr, TestRail, QTest, ALM)
-
Knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
-
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)

Strong documentation skills

Applicable College Degree
We strive to offer competitive compensation and benefits while maintaining flexibility for both the employee and the North Highland. Total Rewards associated with this position include an hourly rate from: $95.00 - $105.00 as well as a basic benefits package for temporary employees and paid time off (PTO).
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position. This is a temporary employee (W2) opportunity.
