We're seeking a Workforce Strategy Manager/Lead to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our UK mobile network operator.
Please note, this is an initial 3-6 month inside IR35 PAYE Umbrella contract that will require onsite working in Berkshire 2 days per week.
SUMMARY:
As a Workforce Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organization. You will be responsible for organizing and managing the day-to-day activities of a team, engaging with senior stakeholders, and building robust skills frameworks. Your expertise in areas such as strategic workforce planning, talent management, and workforce transformation will be instrumental in driving our business forward.
YOU WILL:

Lead and manage a team responsible for developing and implementing workforce strategies and capabilities

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and translate complex skills information into user-friendly, practical solutions

Design and implement skills assessment and development programs to support the growth and progression of our employees

Spearhead workforce transformation initiatives, driving change and ensuring a smooth transition

Leverage your expertise in areas like change management, talent management, and skills development to enhance our organizational capabilities

Analyze workforce data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Extensive experience in HR, workforce planning, or capability building, preferably at an enterprise level

A strong background in synthesizing complex information and translating it into practical, user-centred solutions

Proven skills in strategic workforce planning, talent management, and skills assessment and development

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to effectively present and influence at all levels

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive change and achieve organizational goals

Relevant qualifications or certifications in areas such as HR, workforce planning, or change management
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position.
