Compensation At North Highland, we strive to fairly and meaningfully compensate you for the work that you do! Our compensation plans illustrate our philosophy, processes and variable compensation programs. 
401(k) As a North Highland employee, you are eligible to participate in the company 401(k) retirement plan. For every dollar you contribute, North Highland will make a discretionary match of 50% of the first 6% of pay you contribute in a calendar year if you are an active employee on December 31st of the plan year.
Health Savings Account (HSA) If you enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, you may also contribute pre-tax to a Health Savings Account (HSA). North Highland will make a significant contribution to your HSA every pay period.  The money in your HSA can not only be used to pay for qualified medical expenses but can be invested in mutual funds for greater potential long-term growth.

Medical | Prescription Drug North Highland offers you and your family a comprehensive medical and prescription drug plan that allows you to contribute to a Health Savings Acccount (HSA) if you work a minimum of 20 hours per week. The plan provides a national network of doctors, facilities, and pharmacies, along with benefits for both in-network and out-of-network.
Dental North Highland offers you and your family a comprehensive dental plan that allows you to visit any provider you choose.
Vision North Highland offers a comprehensive vision plan which provides coverage for eye exams, frames and lenses, contact lenses and discounts on Lasik vision correction surgery.
Flexible Spending Accounts North Highland offers a Healthcare, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.
Commuter Benefits We understand that there are costs associated with commuting to work. A transportation reimbursement account allows you to pay for a portion of qualified parking or transit passes using pre-tax dollars through payroll deduction. 
Voluntary Accident Insurance Accident insurance is designed to help employees meet the out-of-pocket expenses and extra bills that can follow a non-work related accidental injury, whether minor or catastrophic. 
Life Insurance North Highland provides Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage to you at no cost. You may also enroll for Supplemental life insurance for yourself, your spouse/domestic partner and your children. 
Disability North Highland provides Short-Term Disability coverage at no cost to you. We also offer Voluntary Long-Term Disability coverage.
Critical Illness Critical Illness coverage provides lump sum payments directly to you if you are diagnosed with one of thirty covered conditions.
Hospital Indemnity With our Hospital Indemnity coverage, you'll have a choice of two comprehensive plans which provide payments directly to you and are not offset by any other insurance coverage or payments you may receive.

Health Advocate Health Advocate is North Highland's one-top shop for estimating the cost and quality of services covered by the medical plan as well as help with benefits questions, issues and the employee assistance program.

Service Awards At North Highland, we appreciate your service to the firm and we want to provide you with rewards as you meet milestone anniversaries including: gift cards, sabbatical eligibility, and recognition awards.
Employee Recognition Recognizing our employee-owners for a job well done is important at the company. As such we encourage our leaders and colleages to provide feedback via our Anytime Feedback tool and LifeWorks newsfeed.
Sabbatical Program We recognize from time to time a career break can provide employees with an opportunity for personal development. As such, the company provides our employee-owners with an upaid leave option once you meet certain length of service requirements.
Flexible Time Off Flexible Time Off (FTO) allows eligible employees the opportunity to take paid time off as needed to balance their work and personal life. All exempt and non-exempt employees are eligible for FTO immediately upon starting employment. 
Paid Parental Leave North Highland provides parents, regardless of gender, with time off that goes above and beyond the requirements prescribed by law. If an employee has completed twelve months of full-time employment with the firm at the time of birth or placement of an adopted or foster child within an employee's home, he/she will receive six weeks of leave at 100% of their base pay.
Adoption/Foster Assistance For employees who choose to adopt and/or foster a child, North Highland will provide financial assistance to help you with the process after 12 months of continuous employment. If an employee chooses to adopt and/or foster a child, they qualify to receive the following assistance:

Adoption of a Child with Special Needs - $13,000
Fostering of a Child - $3,000
Fertility Treatment - $10,000

Employees are only eligible to receive one payment for a child regardless of the change in their status.
