We're seeking a Cyber Architect to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our UK and International Logistics client.
Please note, this is an initial 3-6 month PAYE Umbrella contract that will require onsite working in London 1-3 days per week
SUMMARY
As a Cyber Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust security frameworks that protect critical infrastructure and data assets. This role will elevate cybersecurity posture to enterprise standards, ensuring that tactical security initiatives align with broader strategic vision. You will work at technical level, translating complex security requirements into practical, scalable solutions that safeguard our consulting firm's reputation and client trust.
YOU WILL:

Design and develop comprehensive cybersecurity architectural solutions that align with industry best practices and organisational objectives

Evaluate and recommend security technologies, ensuring optimal balance between protection, performance, and cost-effectiveness

Lead vendor selection processes and manage ongoing service relationships to ensure continuous security excellence

Provide expert guidance on security practices across multiple technology platforms and infrastructure environments

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into secure architectural designs

Mentor and support technical teams in implementing security measures and maintaining security standards

Monitor emerging threats and evolving security landscapes to ensure our defences remain current and effective

Communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and professionalism
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Degree-level qualification in Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Professional security architecture qualification such as Certified Information Security Manager, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, or equivalent recognised credential

Advanced cybersecurity certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional or relevant security operations certifications

Extensive experience designing and implementing security architectures across enterprise environments

Proven track record in vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and technology selection processes

Strong understanding of security principles, methodologies, and frameworks across diverse technology domains

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to navigate complexity with patience and resilience

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation expertise
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position.
