We're seeking a Strategic Planning & Performance Manager or Senior Consultant to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

*please note, this is an initial 3 month inside IR35 PAYE Umbrella contract that will require onsite working in London, 2-3 days per week

SUMMARY

The Strategic Planning & Performance Manager will play a crucial role in connecting the organization's strategy to effective execution. By leading the planning, governance, and coordination efforts, you will ensure the strategic priorities underpinning the company's technology and business strategies are successfully crystallised, resourced, and delivered upon.

YOU WILL:

  • Lead the portfolio management office, supporting multiple initiatives and strategic programs

  • Chair senior management meetings and governance forums to drive informed decision-making

  • Oversee and improve portfolio and project governance activities, ensuring alignment and transparency

  • Develop key performance indicators, dashboards, and data-driven insights to monitor portfolio health and guide proactive course-correction

  • Manage budgets and support financial planning processes, aligning people and funding to priority work

  • Leverage a range of delivery methodologies, including Agile practices, to drive efficient and effective execution

  • Demonstrate strong change management expertise to facilitate organizational transformation

  • Cultivate excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills to align diverse teams and interest.


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Extensive experience in a portfolio management office, supporting the delivery of multiple strategic initiatives

  • Proven track record of chairing senior management meetings and leading effective governance forums

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  •  Proficiency in portfolio management tools, such as Jira, Miro, and Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and experience managing budgets and financial planning processes

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the capacity to tailor messaging for different audiences

  • Change management expertise to navigate organizational transformation successfully

  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
