We're seeking a Analyst, Application Engineering in Quito to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY
 

North Highland is looking for an Application Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance who is interested in developing technical skills and growing into a Workday PSA/FINS specialist.

You will work closely with senior team members to support and improve our Workday platform while learning how technology supports financial processes.

YOU WILL:

• Support day-to-day activities in Workday, helping maintain and improve the system.
• Assist in gathering business requirements and helping translate them into system solutions.
• Support reporting needs, including creating and maintaining Workday reports.
• Help troubleshoot system or data issues, especially related to finance processes.
• Work with finance and other teams to understand their needs and provide support.
• Document tasks and updates in Jira to keep work organized and visible.
• Participate in system updates and testing during Workday releases.
• Learn how different parts of Workday connect and support the business.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

• 1–3 years of experience in finance, business, or a related area.
• Interest in learning technical skills and working with systems (no need to be highly technical yet).
• Basic knowledge of tools like Excel, reporting, or data analysis.
• Nice to have: exposure to SQL, ERP systems, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Interest in growing into a technical specialist role, especially within Workday.
