As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that deliver real business value for our clients, working across the full stack to build solutions that are scalable, reliable, and built to last.

We're seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in Quito in [INDUSTRY/PRACTICE] to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that deliver real business value for our clients, working across the full stack to build solutions that are scalable, reliable, and built to last.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into clean, efficient code owing the work from backend architecture to frontend experience.
YOU WILL:
- Design and develop web applications using C# (.NET Core) on the backend and Angular (v19+) on the frontend, writing code that is maintainable and production-ready.
- Build, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems and services to support business and product requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment processes following engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute best practices to continuous team improvement.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of full stack development experience.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework, with strong experience in Angular (v19+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
- Knowledge of Playwright.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and GraphQL.
