We're seeking a Workforce Strategy Consultants to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our Business Information & Intelligence client.
Please note this is a initial 3 month PAYE umbrella contract that will require on-site working in London 2 days per week.
SUMMARY
We are seeking experienced Workforce Strategy professionals to join our consulting team on a transformational HR initiative. As a Senior Consultant to Senior Manager in Workforce Strategy, you will design and implement a comprehensive skills architecture that enables organisations to gain greater visibility of talent, skills, and career progression opportunities. Your expertise will help reshape how technology teams understand their workforce capabilities, align job families with strategic priorities, and establish clear career pathways that support both organisational growth and employee development. This role will directly impact how an organisation structures its talent management and strengthens the connection between capability and business strategy.
YOU WILL:

Design and develop skills architectures and frameworks tailored to organisational needs

Structure job families and establish clear career pathways within the technology function

Conduct skills mapping and alignment across existing organisational structures

Facilitate workshops with senior leaders and job family owners to gather requirements and build consensus

Translate complex organisational needs into structured, actionable frameworks

Communicate organisational change in an engaging and accessible manner

Engage and influence multiple stakeholders across technology teams

Manage feedback loops and build alignment across leadership groups

Establish the foundation for Communities of Practice to support ongoing capability development

Contribute to workforce planning and talent visibility initiatives
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Proven experience designing skills architectures and talent frameworks within large organisations

Demonstrable background in structuring job families and defining career progression models

Strong experience in organisational design, workforce strategy, or talent management consulting

Ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and translate their vision into practical outcomes

Excellent facilitation and workshop design skills with experience managing complex stakeholder groups

Demonstrated capability in change management and stakeholder engagement
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly

Experience working within technology or professional services environments

Ability to think strategically while managing detailed execution

Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build consensus and influence across organisations
