We're seeking a
Programme Management Office Support in London to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

As an SC cleared Programme Management Office Support professional, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the programme office for the National Police Service programme within our Public Safety Group. You will provide essential support across planning, governance, and risk management functions, enabling the successful delivery of a complex public sector programme. Your contribution will ensure that programme activities are coordinated effectively, risks are identified and managed proactively, and governance structures are maintained to the highest standards.

YOU WILL:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Programme Manager and programme office team

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of programme documentation, including plans, schedules, and governance records

  • Support the coordination of programme meetings, workshops, and steering group sessions

  • Help identify, assess, and monitor programme risks and issues, escalating concerns as appropriate

  • Contribute to the establishment of programme processes and procedures

  • Maintain accurate records and manage programme information systems

  • Support communication activities between programme stakeholders

  • Assist with the preparation of programme reports and status updates

  • Help ensure compliance with governance standards and organizational procedures

  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities


IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Central government working experience and knowledge

  • Experience working in a programme management or project management environment

  • Familiarity with programme governance frameworks and best practice approaches

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and programme management tools

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Security clearance (SC)
