We're seeking a Contract Senior Business Analyst in London to support our Life Sciences practice to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.
SUMMARY
We are looking for Business Analysts to support delivering a major pharma R&D digital transformation. You’ll play a pivotal role translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and helping shape the operating model, workforce change impacts, and end-to-end digital journeys needed to deliver sustainable transformation.
12 months inside IR35 PAYE umbrella contract. Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite in central London.
YOU WILL:

Lead requirements elicitation and definition (workshops, interviews, document analysis) and translate outcomes into high-quality artefacts (e.g., epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).

Map AS-IS / TO-BE processes, identify gaps, and support solution options that improve performance, controls, and customer/colleague experience.

Support operating model and workforce change analysis: roles/process impacts, decision rights, governance and handoffs—ensuring solutions land effectively across teams.

Capture and communicate end-to-end digital journey requirements (customer and/or operational journeys), supporting service design, prioritisation, and delivery readiness.

Maintain end-to-end traceability from business objectives through requirements to delivered outcomes; manage changes through appropriate change control.

Contribute to governance: produce concise updates and analysis outputs suitable for senior stakeholders, enabling decisions and risk management.

Collaborate closely with the team to ensure requirements are understood, testable, and deliverables supporting UAT readiness and implementation cutover where needed.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering projects in pharma, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.

Strong experience supporting digital transformation including multiple workstreams, dependencies, and governance.

Digital journey / service design (customer or colleague journeys, pain points, outcomes, prioritisation)

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence facilitating workshops and communicating clearly at all levels.

Experience working across Agile/Waterfall or hybrid delivery; comfortable working with tooling such as Jira/Confluence (or equivalent).
